Othello auditions

• So I  go in for drama on wednesday, knowing without a shadow of doubt that I won't be auditioning for anything because I need to focus on my studies, and I end up trying out for not one but two roles. At first I wanted to do it because I really love the audition process but then I kinda thought about it and I could actually do these two roles because a) they're really small roles and won't take a lot of my time b) I REALLY WANT TO ACT FOR LIT NIGHT 
• So I ended up trying for Emilia and Bianca but I don't really want Em because she's just not a character I can connect with somehow. Bianca on the other hand, is absolutely perffff

She literally comes in for one scene, throws a handkerchief in Cassio's face, bitches at him, flirts with him, and then bitches at him for a little bit longer. I LOVE IT. She's so badass and doesn't take anyone's crap and basically all I aspire to be (except for maybe the prostitution bit)

But still, I don't think i'll get it because there's only 3 female roles in the play and as a result about 9 girls auditioned for the part. NINE (!!!)

oh well, whatever happens, happens
