and I don't even like coffee

You know what my absolute favourite thing is? Sitting in starbucks with a hot peppermint mocha on a cold day listening to absolutely anyone talk about their day/ week/ life.

For a really long time part of my life I was ridiculously shy, the idea of public speaking would generally reduce me to tears. But when you're shy, you learn to listen. Not in a creepy way, but with sincere interest. When someone rants to me about something it's honest to god one of my absolute favourite things. It makes me feel like not only do you trust me, but hearing/ seeing that emotion from you is just the most interesting thing. I genuinely love hearing about people's days, and sometimes i'll get so caught  up in your story, i'll forget to speak entirely.

In fact, screw starbucks. If you see me sitting in the canteen, just talk to me. It can be about the movie you recently watched/ the person in your class that you likelike/ the way the stars seem to shine a little bit brighter when you're in love/ or what the hell we're gonna do with the rest of our lives.

I will say this though, as much as I may enjoy talking to you, i'll rarely approach you first. It might be because of a deep - seeded insecurity that you may not want to talk to me, or simply the fact that one never truly gets over their shyness entirely. Either way, if you catch my eye, just say hi.
